GWR Important Christmas Travel Update

An important update on your Christmas travel

We're making some essential improvements in the London Paddington and Cardiff areas over the Christmas break. Completion of these will mean faster, more efficient travel for everyone.

For a short period, this could mean that your travel takes longer – we wanted to let you know in plenty of time, so you can plan ahead;

• From Friday 23 December to Monday 2 January, you will be able to use Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak tickets on any GWR train.
• London Paddington will be closed from Saturday 24 December to Thursday 29 December. Trains will start and end at Ealing Broadway, where you will be able to continue your journey using the London Underground.
• There will be no GWR trains on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 December.
  

Some routes will be diverted, or use replacement buses for part of the journey. So please check our Christmas Travel Page for the latest news.
