2018 Travel Agent Discount Authority (TADA) Vouchers
 

2018 TADA vouchers will be sent out during the week of 18 December and should arrive with you by Christmas.
 

The provision of TADAs by the industry to travel agent/TMC staff has been a long-standing benefit and the key features of the scheme have remained largely unchanged over many years. During that time, the industry fares and retailing landscape has been transformed.
 

Following a review with TOCs of TADA arrangements over recent months, a couple of important changes will be implemented from January 2018:

• Firstly, the discount rate for TADA travel will be reduced from 75% to 45%. This is primarily due to the introduction and increasing availability of Advance fares over recent years but also reflects the decline in the percentage of TADA used by TA/TMC staff for leisure trips, which has always been the main purpose of the TADA scheme;
• Secondly, the overall number of TADAs sent to TA/TMCs will be reduced by around 20% across the board. This change reflects the actual TADA usage level, which has consistently been around 80% in recent years

All other conditions remain as currently (e.g. travel restrictions, child discounts and qualifying ticket types.
