Advance Purchase Tickets – Change of Travel Plans Admin Fee 3rd December 2020

In order to ensure that customers can travel during the announced ‘Christmas Travel Window', and in December, the government has extended the waiving of the change of journey fee to any Advance tickets purchased on or before 26th November 2020.

As previously permitted during the national lockdown between 5th November and 2nd December, customers with Advance tickets purchased on or before 26th November to travel on or after 3rd December 2020 and up to and including 2nd January 2021, are permitted to change their journey free of charge.

The original origin and destination must remain the same, but customers are permitted to change the date and time to travel on another day. Customers will still be required to pay any fare difference.

Changes to Advance tickets must be made before the first booked service in all circumstances, and any changes made to Advance tickets after that service has departed are invalid.
